Ven. Vannasiri
Ven. Vannasiri, born in 1992 in Myanmar, was ordained as a bhikkhu at age twenty. He holds multiple academic degrees, including a B.A. in Dhamma studies from Yangon, an M.A. in Pāli from Sri Lanka, and an M.A. in Mahāyāna and Tibetan Buddhism from Nalanda University, India, under the ASEAN Scholarship. He has taught at prominent Buddhist universities and founded the Vicararama Buddhist Education Center in Hlegu, where he trained university-level monastics. He has also contributed to national academic training programs for M.A. and Ph.D. candidates. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Gujarat University under the ICCR Scholarship. His research includes a publication on women’s roles in Theravāda Buddhism.
