Umashanker Yadav is a dynamic Indian entrepreneur, filmmaker, and literary visionary whose journey blends discipline, creativity, and purpose. A former Indian Air Force professional (1985–2001), he went on to build a diverse business ecosystem, founding ventures such as Ikon Barcode Solutions, Ikon Label Industries, Serene Publishers, Ikon Education Foundation, and Serene Films. He is the Founder & Managing Director of the Ahmedabad International Literature Festival (AILF), a leading platform for literary and cultural exchange. As an author, he wrote Beyond Dreamz, and in cinema, he has short films like Heer & Ranjha and Sukhnath Mogra Ni Varta which are successfully running on the OTT WAVES. His Hindi feature film Drop Out, where he serves as writer, producer, and actor, releases in cinemas on 29th May 2026.
