Sekou Kante is an English teacher from Mali, pursuing an M.A. in English Literature at Gujarat University under the ICCR programme. He has taught English in government junior high schools in Koutiala, southern Mali, since 2013. He has also worked as Partnership Liaison Manager for a U.S.-based NGO implementing a library project for school students in Koutiala. Passionate about teaching, literature, and cultural exchange, he hopes to connect teachers and lovers of English language and literature in Mali with the Ahmedabad International Literature Festival.
