Short Biography : Rovaniaina Michael RATSIMBAZAFY, artistically known as Rova Jahcs, is a bass singer, songwriter, and emerging artist from Madagascar. Born and raised in Antananarivo, he moved to India in 2022 to study Computer Engineering at Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, where he began blending his academic pursuits with his passion for music. Known for his deep vocal range and ability to hit low keys, Michael draws inspiration from both Malagasy roots and Indian culture. He is currently working on his debut album, “Give It A Try,” which reflects his transformative journey from Madagascar to India. Alongside his solo work, he also collaborates with Indian singers, with an upcoming release celebrating Indian cultural heritage. Beyond music, Michael is the founder of R Technology, a young software startup developing mathematical software and cybersecurity tools. He is also an aspiring mathematics researcher, with early findings published on ResearchGate. At heart, Michael is a storyteller through songs, science, and innovation, sharing a journey that bridges continents, disciplines, and cultures.
