Minal Dave is a well-known Gujarati short-story writer and an eminent translator. She is highly recognized for translating acclaimed South Indian literature into Gujarati, most notably books like Godhuli and Swechchha. A former Associate Professor of Gujarati Literature, she is currently retired. In recognition of her exceptional work in bringing South Indian languages to Gujarati readers, she was honored with the prestigious Sahitya Academy (Delhi) Translation Prize.
