Dr. Dhimant Purohit is a veteran media professional, journalist, editor and filmmaker with over three decades of experience in journalism and storytelling. He served as Bureau Chief of Aaj Tak in Gujarat, covering some of the state’s most significant developments. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Newz Viewz, a digital news platform. With a strong academic engagement in Mass Communication and Journalism, Dr. Purohit has also guided doctoral research at Gujarat University. He has directed documentaries in Hindi, Gujarati and English, combining journalism with visual storytelling and social themes.
