Pia Benegal is a veteran Bollywood costume designer with over three decades of experience in the Indian film industry. She is the daughter of legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal and a partner at Shyam Benegal Sahyadri Films. Her work in historical and biographical projects like The Making of the Mahatma, Bose: The Forgotten Hero, Samvidhaan, and Mujib: The Making of a Nation reflects her ability to blend authenticity with creative vision, bringing cultural and historical narratives to life. Most recently, Pia made her OTT debut collaborating with Hansal Mehta on the Gandhi series, which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025, further showcasing her dedication to elegance, authenticity, and emotional depth in every frame.
