Viveck Vaswani, born in 1962, and bred in Mumbai, studied at Campion School and did his ISCE in 1977, then moved to the Cathedral and John Connon High School for his HSC, and subsequently to Sydenham College for his Bachelor of Commerce degree which he received in 1983.

His career started in 1984 with theatre in English with Pearl Padamsee, Hosi Vasunia, Adi Marzban, Ronnie Screwvala & Alyque Padamsee and his career is still going strong today after 35 years!

He then moved on to television and worked in India's first soap opera on television as an actor, 'Khandaan' in 1986 and went on to regale audiences in 'Zabaan Sambhal Ke', 'Dekho Magar pyar Se', and many other prime time shows on Indian TV. He has produced/ co produced/ presented/consulted to at least 50 films in the last 30 years, including producing 'Patthar Ke Phool' in which he launched Anant Balani as a director along with Raveena Tandon, who won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress, "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman" in which he launched Shah Rukh Khan, as well as director Aziz Mirza and music directors Jatin & Lalit, "Dil Vil Pyar Vyar" in which he launched Ananth Narayan Mahadevan as a director and the internationally acclaimed ‘Everybody Says I'm Fine', in which he launched Rahul Bose as a director, and Rehaan Engineer, Koel Purie, Boman Irani and Anahita Uberoi as actors. This film opened at the Toronto International Film festival and went on to being officially selected to Jerusalem, Vancouver, London, Philadelphia, Palm Springs and 14 other International festivals.

Viveck Vaswani has acted in many Bollywood films including "King Uncle", "Josh", "Aa Ab Laut Chalen" , "36, China Town" and many more. He has done a lot of work in advertising and many advertising films, along with his body of work on television.

Viveck Vaswani is now a producer, writer, and a consultant to many Bollywood corporate entitites, as well as a teacher. He worked with the Zee Network on "Cinestars Ki Khoj", has mentored major start ups like Nimbus, BookMyShow.Com and Asht Vinayak Cine Vision among others including currently Crystal Pure Media and Entertainment, Aerika Cineworks, Rising Star Entertainments and many more.

Viveck Vaswani is also on the board of the Dallas Fort Worth South Asian Film Festival, and also moderates for the ALIIFF and LIFFI. He currently works as Consulting Producer at Aerika Cineworks and teaches for the students of the Shiamak Davar Institute Of Performing Arts and its NGO, the Victory Arts Foundation and is guest lecturer and on the Advisory Curriculum Board at MET. He is also Adjunct Professor at Pearl Academy and teaches at both the Mumbai and Delhi campuses.

Viveck Vaswani has mentored many talents in Bollywood, who have grown from being his assistants to major film stars and directors today. Notable among them are Anant Balani, Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon, Iqbal Khan, Mukul Dev, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay Gadhvi, Onir, Umesh Ghadge, Vinay Jain, Lalit Ajgaonkar, Dilip Joshi (Taarak Mehta) and many others.

'Rough Book', now acknowledged internationally as one of the finest films ever made in India on the education system, has been mentored by Viveck Vaswani from start to finish for Aerika Cineworks and has, in its cast nearly nine new actors including Amaan F Khan.

Viveck Vaswani is also a writer and writes regularly for Box Office India, Bollywood Hungama and many other newspapers, both in print and on digital platforms. He also worked as an information consultant for the Viacom18 group's new channel, Rishtey Cineplex and advises, guides and works with many corporate bodies in the film industry.

Viveck Vaswani has taught preschool at the International School founded by Meera Gandhi.
