Ranjana Singh who is opening the path of progress for women in and around Uttar Pradesh (UP). Talking about Ranjana Singh, she is running an organization called Aawahan The New Voice and through the organization is mainly working on the all-round development of women. Ranjana Singh and her organization affected the employment of poor and backward families in the lockdown due to Covid19; while through them the organization was associated with various types of employment activities with about 5000 women.  Seeing the urgency of the occasion even in the initial days of the pandemic, Ranjana Singh got women online training in sewing to make masks and selling them in various government and non-government departments by giving clothes and other items to women at home and making masks. Taxes became a means of employment for these women, these women were able to ensure daily livelihood of Rs. 200-300, Since then the masks manufactured by these women are supplied in various departments of the state like NABARD, Information and Public Relations Department, Indian Army Battalion, Vikas Bhawan, Jawahar Bhawan, SIDBI, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Block Office, Vikas Bhawan, UP State Warehousing Corporation and many other departments are in great demand. 1 lakh masks were supplied in Government Department during Covid19. If we talk about the problem of starvation among the most backward poor, then in the time of lockdown when people did not have employment and migrant laborers were constantly returning from cities and there was a problem of livelihood for these families. Ranjana Singh went ahead and presented an example by distributing dry ration to thousands of families of poor and backward classes along with these migrant laborers with the help of her organization and many other affiliated organizations. This work of the organization and Ranjana Singh ensured the availability of food for two times during the lockdown for these families and by providing skill development, livelihood, mushroom cultivation, food processing, jute products, using mushroom as by- product and digital literacy, Financial literacy by handholding and marketing support. Apart from this, women are also skilled in the manufacturing jute-related materials, earthen lamps and idols as well as many other activities so that the women continue to get some work in all the months of the year and they are the livelihood of their family. To provide continuous support, bags, files and folders of jute made by women through Ranjana Singh in collaboration with NABARD, SIDBI, Vikas Bhawan, Farrukhabad. Along with the UP State Warehousing Corporation, supplies are being made to many other departments and offices.

About 5000 families and women like Shashi, Rekha Soni and Kiran Singh are living life with dignity by becoming self-sufficient today. Through your organization, these women also participated vigorously in Mission Shakti and emerged as a unique example for women power. In the direction of women empowerment, many online and offline programs have also been organized by the organization under Mission Shakti. Through Ranjana Singh and Mission Shakti, these women have realized their power today and these women are able to cooperate shoulder to shoulder with the men.
