Priya Narayanan

Priya Narayanan is both an interior architect and an award-winning children’s author based in Ahmedabad. She also teaches at her alma mater, CEPT University. Amongst the books she has written for children are the Neev Book Award winning Srinivasa Ramanujan: Friend of Numbers and Ten Heads for Tanuj that won the Peek-a-Book Children’s Choice award. Her most recent book, Demons and Demonesses of Hindu Mythology, takes readers time travelling into the worlds of some of the most fascinating asuras and rakshasas. Priya's writings for an older audience have appeared in literary magazines including Indian Quarterly, Sahitya Akademi’s Indian Literature, Muse India, Narrow Road Literary Journal, The Bombay Literary Magazine, Modern Haiku, Haikukatha, Under the Basho and Akitsu Quarterly.
