Kanchan Pant is the founder and managing director of ‘ZeroShots Films Pvt Ltd’, a company that is formed to create low cost and high quality feature films. She written and directed the first feature film for Zeroshots. Kanchan started her career as a TV Journalist with NDTV, however she has been a full-time writer for the past 10 years. She was the creative head of one of the most famous shows in FM radio in India- ‘Yaadon ka idiot box’ for over 6 years. Kanchan has also created story-telling shows like ‘Kahani Express’, ‘Time Machine’, ‘Qisson ka kona’ for Red FM. With over 300 stories. 5 radio shows, 2 books, many documentary films in her name, kanchan has created a unique niche in creative universe. Her shows have won multiple awards in ‘Indian Radio Forum’ and ‘New York festival’ etc. Kanchan is now colaborating with talented artists, writers, mucians, singer and cinematographers to create unconventional cinema beyond Bollywood.
