Emmanuel Bottiau has done his Major in English Literature and Culture from Paris
Nanterre University. He was the linguistic attache at the French embassy in Nigeria. As the
director of Alliance Francaise, he has worked in numerous countries including Bangladesh,
South Korea, Canada, and the United Kingdom since 2001. He has also been the supervisor of
the network of Alliance Francaises in England, Wales, and Scotland. Currently, he is the director
of Alliance Francaise of Ahmedabad. His experience as an English as a Second Language
(ESL) teacher in Paris is also noteworthy. His areas of interest include Dystopian literature and
Fantasy. Apart from that, he is also passionate about contemporary art and electronic music.
