Prof. Ashwani Kumar

Ashwani Kumar is a known academician and professional in field of environment. He has obtained Civil Engineer from IIT-Kanpur and has 20 years of experience. He received international training from European Union on urban environment management and is a recognized Green Buildings evaluator. He has worked with Central Government and was key team member of a World Bank funded project.  

He is also part of Expert Committee of MoEFCC (Govt. of India) for Environmental Appraisal of developmental projects.

He teaches in interdisciplinary area of climate change mitigation & adaptation, environmental impact assessment, environmental technology, environmental policy and water and sanitation infrastructure, environmental resources conservation. He volunteers for environmental education and promote the green entrepreneurship. He is an avid traveller and keeps keen interest exploring the art, architecture, literature and photography.
