About the Author
Aditya Kant is a senior journalist with about 25 years of experience in the profession. He has worked with the country’s leading English publications in Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Shimla.
Presently he is working as a Senior Assistant Editor with The Times of India at Chandigarh.
His debut novel 'High on Kasol', which is a work of fiction, inspired from the real life incidents, was widely acclaimed for bringing to the fore the burning issues of environment degradation, culture invasion in the hills and drug abuse amongst the youth.
His writing, Kant says, is a way of paying tribute to the natives of the hills for whom he feels lasting respect and deep affection.
Kant was born and brought up in the hills and when not engaged in journalism, he indulges in his predilection for writing and narrating ghost stories.
He currently lives in Chandigarh with his daughter Ananya and wife Seema and is working on a prequel to Kasol besides writing a book on ghost stories.
