Rakesh Chavda is a novelist. "Way to the next birth" is the first novel penned by him. The author is having the education in various subjects. He is a post graduate in science from Gujarat University. Further he has done Diploma in I.T. & P.G. Diploma in Clinical Research. Now he is pursuing Law.

He represented Gujarat state at National level NCC (Air Wing) in 2009.

He was fond of singing & has won the prizes for light vocals for two years at university level competitions (once third & once first at university). He has recited poetry for the first time in 2010 for his college at youth festival of university.

Due to his deep interest in sports, He has earned medals every year in annual sports championships of university & college.

He was madly fond of politics too. That’s why he had successfully contested and won two elections with majority for national party during his studies of bachelors and masters. He is a keen political observer.

He passed more than thirteen competitive exams of state and central government.

He loves travelling a lot as he loves to know about different people and their cultures. Just because of that, he travelled most of the part of India except five states of south India.

"Way to the next birth"; his debut mainstream romantic and sensational novel is the only book which relates Gujarat and Jammu & Kashmir. It’s a story of a Gujarati boy and a girl of Jammu & Kashmir. The story flows with a narration of social evils (which every Indian and every student faces once in a life), patriotism, nationalism, NCC, terrorism, festivals and culture of both these states. On some pages it seems a travelogue too. The writer’s beautiful poems link the story. Apart from India, he got some readers from outside of India. His story is appreciated by some ministers and academicians of both these states, renowned writers, some magazines & dailies.

"Way to the next birth" was first launched in Jammu by the Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir and the Speaker of Jammu & Kashmir legislative assembly on August 16, 2017 and later at Gujarati Sahitya Parishad in Ahmedabad on December 1st, 2017.
