SajaudeenNijamodeen Chapparban is Assistant Professor in the Centre for Diaspora Studies at Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, India. He has done his Master and M.Phil. in English Literature and currently pursuing his Ph.D. from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. His area of interest includes Contemporary Literary and Cultural Theory, Migration, Diaspora, Refugee and Forced Migration Studies, Migration Rights and Human Rights, Contemporary English Literature/s, Muslim Literatures, and Subaltern Studies. He has presented his research papers at national and international conferences in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Austria, Germany, Poland, and Sweden. He has received MANF Junior Research fellow Award from University Grants Commission, India and The Wenner-Gren Foundation and EASA fellowship to from Stockholm University, Stockholm,Sweden. There are seven publications on his credit and currently he is editing a special issue on "Rohingya Refugees: Identity, Citizenship, and Human Rights" of Cafe Dissensus, New York City, USA.
